2021 Wellness Workshops are being planned!
Plans are underway for the "Creating a Healthier Lifestyle: Holistic Wellness" classes for Spring of 2021. It is with great hope that our communities are healing and will be safe for in-person classes. Classes meet for two afternoons a week for four weeks, learning about and discussing how the "Eight Dimensions of Wellness" ( Social, Emotional, Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, Environmental, Financial and Occupational) work together to build strength and support in our lives. Contact us for further information and get on our update list.
The Prison Family Bill of Rights...
Was developed by a group of advocates attending the 2012 National Prisoner Family Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Demeter Foundation was proud to be part of this process. Families still struggle today to be treated with dignity and respect.

"SOCK-IT To Us! It's our 2020 Fundraiser for socks for our Welcome Home Kits for Formerly Incarcerted Women.
Every month women are released from the Wisconsin Women’s Correctional System to our communities. Many of the women come out with little but the clothes on their backs. Our Welcome Home Kits provide several basic personal essentials such as soap, lotion, toothbrush/paste, deodorant, and SOCKS. Kits are shipped statewide. Now that cold weather is coming, we put multiple pairs in each box.
Your monetary donations make sure that our kits are fully stocked, and that warm socks are available throughout the cold winter months. Here is our flyer for you to share. You can DONATE HERE or send a check to our address. If you would like to donate new socks directly, please contact us at 608-298-3563 or firstname.lastname@example.org Giving Matters! Thank you!
